Tax/Insurance Disclaimer

Last updated 2026-05-26. Tax and insurance topics require qualified professional review.

No tax advice

Pocket-CFO does not provide tax advice, tax preparation, legal advice, accounting advice, or filing recommendations. Tax-sensitive information in dashboards, reports, scenarios, or explanations is informational only and may not reflect federal, state, local, or industry-specific rules that apply to your business. We do not determine deductions, credits, nexus, payroll obligations, sales tax collection, estimated tax payments, entity classification, revenue recognition, depreciation, owner compensation, distributions, or any final tax position.

No insurance or actuarial advice

Pocket-CFO does not provide insurance advice, actuarial advice, underwriting guidance, policy recommendations, or suitability determinations. Any insurance-related or policy-related feature is a planning aid only. The service does not replace a licensed insurance professional, carrier, actuary, tax adviser, attorney, or other qualified reviewer. It does not guarantee policy performance, tax treatment, premium capacity, risk transfer, claim outcomes, solvency, compliance, or the availability of insurance coverage.

MEC and policy limits

If Pocket-CFO displays modified endowment contract, premium, loan, withdrawal, death-benefit, or policy-planning information, that information is an estimate based on supplied assumptions and limited product rules. Pocket-CFO does not perform actuarial testing, certify seven-pay limits, interpret a policy contract, or determine whether any life insurance policy is or will become a MEC. Policy changes can have tax, legal, insurance, and liquidity consequences that software cannot fully evaluate.

Consult professionals before acting

Before changing premiums, loans, withdrawals, ownership, beneficiaries, policy structure, coverage amounts, entity arrangements, compensation, deductions, filings, or reporting positions, consult qualified tax, legal, insurance, accounting, and actuarial professionals as appropriate. You are responsible for confirming all assumptions and decisions with those professionals and with the applicable carrier, tax authority, regulator, or legal adviser. Pocket-CFO is not responsible for penalties, denied claims, tax liabilities, coverage gaps, or other consequences from reliance on informational outputs.
