Data Deletion Policy

Last updated 2026-05-26. This policy explains how to request deletion of Pocket-CFO data.

How to request deletion

You may request deletion of your Pocket-CFO account data, company workspace data, accounting-provider connection data, and related product records by contacting privacy@rippre.com. Include the account email, company or workspace name, and enough detail for us to verify your authority. We may ask for additional confirmation before deleting company data because accounting workspaces can affect multiple users and connected providers. If your company has an administrator, we may route or confirm the request with that administrator.

Provider disconnects

You can stop future accounting syncs by disconnecting QuickBooks, Xero, or another connected provider where that function is available. Disconnecting a provider is intended to revoke or remove the server-side encrypted connection tokens used by Pocket-CFO and prevent new syncs. It may not automatically delete all previously synced accounting records, generated KPI data, reports, audit logs, or support records. To remove those records, submit a deletion request. You may also revoke Pocket-CFO access directly through the provider when supported.

What deletion covers

After we verify a valid request, we will delete or de-identify account profile data, workspace records, normalized accounting data, mappings, assumptions, generated reports, and related operational records where deletion is technically and legally available. Deletion does not create financial, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, actuarial, or compliance advice, and you should preserve any records your business must keep before requesting deletion. Pocket-CFO cannot recover deleted production records once deletion is completed outside ordinary backup limits.

Retention exceptions

Some information may be retained for a limited period in backups, security logs, audit records, billing records, support history, abuse-prevention records, legal holds, dispute files, or records we must keep to comply with law. We will restrict use of retained records to those purposes. Backup copies are removed on normal backup rotation unless earlier removal is practical. We will aim to complete verified deletion requests within a reasonable time and will tell you if verification, legal obligations, or technical constraints require a different timeline.
