Informational software
Pocket-CFO helps businesses view accounting data, normalized categories, KPI trends, reports, scenario notes, and briefing summaries. These materials are generated from source systems such as QuickBooks or Xero, user mappings, sync status, assumptions, and deterministic calculations. They are intended to support internal review and discussion. They are not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified CFO, accountant, CPA, tax adviser, attorney, investment adviser, insurance professional, actuary, lender, or other licensed professional.
No advisory relationship
Using Pocket-CFO does not create a fiduciary, advisory, accountant-client, attorney-client, tax preparer, broker, insurance, actuarial, or lender relationship. We do not recommend that you buy, sell, borrow, lend, invest, hire, fire, restructure, file, amend, insure, claim, distribute, withdraw, or otherwise take or avoid any action. Any references to cash, runway, margin, revenue, burn, risk, forecasts, ratios, alerts, recommendations, or priorities are informational outputs that require independent review.
Accuracy depends on inputs
Financial outputs can be incomplete or wrong if provider data is delayed, accounts are misclassified, historical data is missing, transactions are duplicated, assumptions are unrealistic, integrations fail, or accounting records are not closed. Pocket-CFO may summarize or explain numbers, but it does not audit your books, verify revenue recognition, validate tax treatment, confirm compliance, detect fraud, determine solvency, or certify reports for investors, lenders, boards, insurers, regulators, or tax authorities.
Your review obligations
Before making material decisions, review source accounting records, supporting documents, and professional advice. This is especially important for financing, budgets, hiring plans, layoffs, distributions, acquisitions, sales, tax filings, insurance applications, policy changes, investor reporting, covenant compliance, and other decisions that may create legal, financial, tax, or operational consequences. You remain responsible for decisions made using Pocket-CFO, including how you interpret, share, or act on product outputs.
