Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 2026-06-14. This policy describes conduct that is prohibited when using Pocket-CFO.

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use Pocket-CFO to upload, generate, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or deceptive. You may not harass, threaten, impersonate, or dox any person. You may not upload or introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code into the service. You may not attempt to disrupt, degrade, or interfere with the availability of the service for other users. Hateful content targeting protected characteristics is prohibited.

Prohibited technical activity

You may not scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from Pocket-CFO by automated means beyond the documented API. You may not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of systems or networks without authorization. You may not circumvent rate limits, authentication controls, or entitlement checks. You may not use the outputs of Pocket-CFO, including dashboards, reports, KPI summaries, or scenario models, to mislead investors, lenders, regulators, or tax authorities.

Customer data responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawfulness of all data you upload to or sync through Pocket-CFO. This includes confirming that you have authority from the business whose accounting connection you authorize and that the data does not contain information you are prohibited from disclosing. Pocket-CFO processes your data on your behalf and is not responsible for the quality or legality of data you provide.

Enforcement

Pocket-CFO may investigate suspected violations of this policy and may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations, without prior notice where circumstances require immediate action. We may cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities and may retain records as reasonably necessary to support investigations or comply with legal obligations. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent account termination.
